A long time ago, in 1960, two sisters...

Monica Massih och Mia Löwbeer

got their first basenji. It was a red/white bitch called Lilli. She was our first dog and we did all the mistakes one could, I guess. But she was a super girl with a very stable temperament and she survived prams for dolls, obedience classes, trips to shows which took two days on buses or trains, plays ... She put the references up for us how we think a basenji should be, very full of life, stubborn, but also knowing when it is time to do what she was told with a positive attitude. She became a Swedish champion.
In 1964 it was time for the 2nd one and she was an import from Norway, Ch Pansy of Rossanty and she was a grand daughter of  "Fula".

Mocca & Lilli

In 1966 we had our first litter out of M¹Boi of the Congo x Ch Pansy of Rossanty.

The Basenji was a must in our life and since 1982 we have bred more regularly.
Our foundation bitch we bought from our very dear friend Elisabet Selinus, Senjisfinx Basenjis, and it was the red/white bitch Multi Ch Senjisfinx Kamomilla.

Our goal is to breed healthy basenjis with a nice temperament and of good type.

We work with our Basenjis in obedience, agility and lure coursing.

We were there to start the Swedish Basenji Society in 1977 and we have been on the board for many years. Mia has been the president of the club for 12 years
.

We live in the towns of Stockholm, Mia, and Vasteras, Monica. We have our summer paradise in Finland in the archipelago of Aland, where we were
born.
