No rest! I just arrived and slept one night and off we were for Lexington, Kentucky. I have never been in Kentucky before
as well as West Virgina so it was a nice experience to drive through very pretty country. A lot of mountains and the van was
struggling to get over. Kentucky is just so so pretty with all the horses and the white fences.

The welcome at the host hotel was lovely! Also at the other side of the
road was a lovely dog park so we took them for a good run a few times.

First night we were invited to a cookout at an alpacka farm. We had a great time and the food was
lovely. The dogs could have a run in a big fenced dogrun so they were all properly excersised.

Somebody even made basenji cookies!!

Together with the National was also the Hoosier Basenji Club's Specialty and judge for
the sweepstakes was Damara Bolté, Reveille Basenjis.

Best in puppy sweeps was No Ka Oi's La'akea Maui Makena

Best opposite in Puppy sweeps was Fluetsong's Maybe I'm Amazed

Best veteran in sweeps Khani's Causing A Commotion

I had also been asked if I wanted to show Ch Reveille Push Button in the Top 25!
Button showed really well and it was a lot of fun! Official picture will come :-))

There were three dogs in the "ring" at the same time and we all were judged by three judges.

A lot of questions came up and it was also interesting to bring up the differences we have in
our systems concering registrations, crate laws, open data bases etc.

Avongara Ziki

It was great to meet Ziki and Kumba again, two of the puppies we brought from Congo last year.

Avongara Tambura, "Kumba"

I had also agreed to bring Kayla with me back to Sweden so she travelled with us from Lexington
to Leesburg and she had a lot of fun the days she spent at Reveille with her new friend Remy!

A kiss for You! Tricycle and Kayla.

Finally in Sweden at Arlanda airport, Kayla, Khani's Midnight Star,
who now lives at Enigma kennels. Picture by Sofie Lönn.

So finally back home again and it was amazing to experience all the activities, obedience, lure coursing, all the shows,
dinners, auction, banquet, seminars and the dog walks, it was a golf course at the hotel as well and it was lovely to walk
the dogs there in the mornings before the players were out. The weather was fantastic as well! And the best of all, to meet
all the people, old friends and new friends, just because of a little dog from Congo! Thank you all so very, very much!
